Travel Instructions

A shuttle bus will be running from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council car park on Clifford St, with another running within the venue from the front gate to the museum. Limited parking is available at the venue. 3 accessible parking spaces are available next to the Waterworks Museum. 1 accessible space is available at the shuttle pick up location at the council car park on Clifford St

 

Entry Instructions

Entry is via Marsden Weir off Fitzroy St, near the garden centre. Once you turn in, there is a car park leading to large metal gates that will be open, with someone there to collect tickets. Once you pass through the gates, it is a 400m walk down the road along the river to reach the museum were the fair will take place. A shuttle bus with a wheelchair lift will be running from the gate to the museum and back. The pickup and drop off spots will be marked with a sign, and our volunteers will be at the gate to assist.

 

After Entry Instructions

From the gate, it is a 400m walk to the museum where the event is taking place. Within the event, there will food available at the top car park up a short but steep hill, however there is also Devonshire Tea served by the CWA in the Café that has wheelchair access. The café is located 100m from the hill along the crushed granite past the museum. An accessible toilet is located 10m on from the café. A newly built ramp and railing will allow those with mobility concerns to access the riverside directly.

 

Hazards

A large portion of the event ground is crushed granite, which may provide challenges to some attendees but staff and volunteers will there to assist.

 

Toilet Directions

An accessible toilet is located 10m on from the café. A portable accessible toilet will be placed at the edge of the accessible parking area next to the museum.

 

Accessible Parking

3 spaces are available next to the Waterworks Museum. 3 accessible parking spaces will be allocated in Rotary Park before the gates at Marsden Weir. 1 accessible space is available at the shuttle pick up location at the council car park on Clifford St.

 

Companion Cards

Steampunk Victoriana Fair welcomes those carrying companion cards while they are accompanying concession ticket holders, or a young person living with a disability.
