Join us for a unique Steampunk-Inspired Long Table Banquet at the beautifully restored Goulburn Brewery, Australia’s Oldest Mainland Brewery.
Dating back to the 1830s, this remarkable site was once powered by a steam-driven industry. In fact, by the late 1830s, a steam engine was already in operation here, driving the flour mill that laid the foundations for brewing on site, its rhythmic power marking the beginning of beer production by the early 1840s.
That same spirit of innovation and industry lives on today. After two years of loving restoration, the brewery has been brought back to life, better than ever. Discover the new Mill Bar and enjoy the craftsmanship of the renowned Head Brewer behind Wayback Beer, a delicious drop created from the finest local ingredients. Traditional, yet far from conventional.

As you gather at the Mill Bar for the Steampunk Banquet, each guest will be treated to one complimentary beverage. Choose from:
Further refreshments may be purchased directly from the bar throughout the evening.
A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase on the night. Enjoy a range of flavour-forward beers, from Local Lager and Sparkling Ale to hazy brews, a bold IPA and a rich traditional stout, all crafted using time-honoured methods, rallied from the finest local and regional ingredients.
