The event is held at the Goulburn Historic Waterworks.
Shuttle Bus:
A shuttle bus will operate from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council car park on Clifford St to the main entry of the Pumphouse Museum.
Please note there is no public vehicle access beyond this point.

10 accessible parking spaces are available outside the main gates of the Pumphouse Museum

Entry Details:
Entry to the event is via Marsden Weir off Fitzroy St, next to the Gehl Garden Centre. As you turn in, you’ll enter a car park leading to large cream metal gates, which will be open on event days. Our team will be positioned at the gates to scan tickets.
Parking & Drop-Off:
Accessible parking is available near the main gates (subject to availability). If these spaces are full, you are welcome to use the designated drop-off point. Volunteers from the Goulburn Inclusion Forum will be there to assist and can remain with you in a waiting area while your driver parks.
Accessibility Support:
Friendly volunteers from the Goulburn Inclusion Forum will be available at the entry and throughout the event to assist with any accessibility needs.
Tickets:
Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the gate on the day (please note: a higher gate price applies). At-the-gate payments can be made via cash or EFTPOS. Companion Card tickets are available and can be selected at the time of ticket purchase.
Once you enter through the main gates, the event unfolds across four distinct areas, each offering different experiences.
Roadside (Entry to Goulburn Historic Waterworks venue):
From the gate, you’ll begin along the Roadside, lined with market stalls for approximately 300 metres. After the markets, continue along the road for a further 400 metres to reach the Pumphouse Museum (Goulburn Historic Waterworks).
A shuttle bus operates from the entry area past the market stalls to the Pumphouse Museum for those who require assistance getting to the main event site.
Forecourt (Main Event Area):
The Forecourt is located at the Pumphouse Museum and is the heart of the event. Here you’ll find:

Steampunk Goulburn is held across a historic outdoor site, and some areas may present challenges for people with mobility requirements or other accessibility needs.
A large portion of the Pumphouse Museum grounds is covered in crushed granite, which may be uneven and difficult for wheelchairs, mobility aids or those with limited stability. Staff and volunteers are available to assist where needed.
The event spans multiple areas connected by walking paths and roadways, with distances of up to 700 metres from the entry to the main museum site. A shuttle bus operates along this route for those who may find the distance challenging.
Some areas of the event include inclines and uneven terrain.
The Hillside area, where most food vendors and seating are located, is accessed via a short but semi-steep hill. This area can be reached via the road before entering the museum grounds, or past the School House Tea Room, both involving uphill access. A limited food option is available at ground level in the Forecourt for easier access
The Riverside area is grassed and may be uneven underfoot. However, it can be accessed via a ramp with a railing from the Forecourt to support those with mobility concerns.
The cottage in the Hillside area, which hosts some activities, includes steps that may not be suitable for all visitors.
For visitors who require assistance, volunteers from the Goulburn Inclusion Forum will be present throughout the event. They can assist with navigation, accessing different areas, and identifying suitable pathways or alternatives.

If these spaces are full, a designated drop-off point is available near the gates. Visitors can be safely dropped off here, and volunteers from the Goulburn Inclusion Forum will be on hand to assist. They can provide support and remain with guests in a waiting area while the driver parks.
An additional accessible parking space is available at the shuttle pick-up location at the Goulburn Mulwaree Council car park on Clifford St. A shuttle bus operates from this location to the event entrance.
Companion Cards
Companion Card tickets are available with any concession ticket purchase. One Companion Card is accepted per eligible ticket holder, ensuring support persons can attend to assist where needed.
